Ok try this out. Right click and save as on this link. I'm having some problems uploading these files so please let me know either way if it works or not. Enjoy and thanks!

Yeah, neat. I got it, but parts of it were damaged, and it ended with about 1/6 to go.

What time of day was that done? The light level was weird, or it was late afternoon, one or the other.

But yeah, that was cool. My ex-girlfriend used to be a member of the Minneapolis Rowing Club (that's where it looked like you went from the River Parkway, down the dirt road), so that was neat seeing that.

It was taken around 6:30-7PM last ... Tuesday? Whatever the heck day the scooter meeting was. So yes, late afternoon.

Something is corrupting the file in moving it to my server space. I have been using windows network places to move stuff but maybe I should get a real FTP application.

The sun had just set when most of that was shot. Down along the river it was pretty dark and any shot where the sky was more than 30% or so of the frame it would take over the auto exposure function and plunge the rest of the frame into blackness. I pumped up the brightness in post production, that's probably why it looks a little funny.

Winders shouldn't screw with files like that- but if you're looking for a cheap and dirty FTP server for windows, look for 3CServer- it's a great easy to set up server. (Does TFTP and Syslog as well, but you probably don't need that.) Don't know if I'd leave it running to the general public over the internet for extended periods of time, but if you just want it for internal FTP, it's damn near perfect.

Otherwise I use WarFTPD, but that's powerful enough that it gets way too complicated to set up.

If you're posting on a BBS about scooters, you're living in a pretty big glass house.
