I know the statues require plates/tabs, > 50 engine cc, at least 1 mirror (left hand side) and turn signals if it's after 19xx (what's the actual year?) What else is needed to determine if a bike meets the requirements to be street legal in MN? Thanks.
They used to run them with plates when I was a kid. Not quite a scooter, but cool with the high/low semi-auto 8-speed transmission (I've been thinking about getting one myself). I bet it would go about 45-50 mph.
Just make sure that you have brake lights and a mirror. You'll need a motorcycle license to ride it, unless you can talk someone into moped plates.
