I couldn't make it either - it would have been a Noob leading a Noob....
I ended up picking up a bridesmaids dress at the Elk River Bowling alley - yippee for me! (yes, it is as bad as it sounds)

I hope it's at least pink.

It's a color called Surf or Ocean or Spray - which translates to Turquoise but don't call it Turquoise. The color isn't too bad, it's that it's a halter top. You've met me, I'm not a small girl by any stretch of the imagination.
Chubby girls shouldn't wear halters...it's why they don't usually sell them in the Chubby section.

Not to mention that scootering in 3/4 sleeve shirts has left me with an interesting version of a metro farmer's tan.... that ought to be pretty in the pictures!!!

Hey all,

so the Tuesday night ride this week leaves from the Summit monument? I'm going to try and get out and ride with the new Stella this coming Tuesday. Looking forward to it.

Yup. People usually start arriving around 6:30 PM and we try to leave around 7:00 PM.

Somewhat ironically, I may not be able to be there, as my Super 9 suddenly refuses to start! Ack!

Or maybe, since this will be the closest Tuesday night to the Solstice, we could start a bit late, extend the ride a bit, and enjoy the fact that we'll have sun until 9:30 or later!

Seriously. It could be the TNR Solstice Ride. That's TNRSR for those who are paying attention to their acronyms.

I'll post the idea over in the events section - maybe we could do *both* the St. Paul and the Minneapolis routes, leaving when Becky gets there? since we cross right back by the starting point about 2/3 of the way into the ride, it would make it about 1:45 total riding time, and anybody who wanted to start late could meet up with us at the monument a little before 8:00 when we passed back by.

Good idea?
