I have to work late both Thursday and Friday, but if you let me know about the route I'll check it out (jimamy@comcast.net). Thanks,
Amy Noel |

Will do. I'll try to get the route to you all by Sunday.
BTW, Amy, if your friend wants to ride tail-gunner with, there's no reason why she shouldn't.
I'm going to try to convince my son to drive my jeep with the tilt-rack mounted on it as a sag vehicle if we can't get someone else to help out. It only holds one bike, but it will have to do if we have no other options. That's assuming he's willing to do it. |

How often has there been the need to haul more than one bike?
I realize that there are many older scooters and 30+ year old shit breaks.
Just wonderin'.

I don't know. I've never seen bike's down and out, just down, tweaked and limping back. Maybe Matt or Lisa can weigh in here. If we can get a sag, we'll have a sag - something's better than nothing, just in case. |

The one time we don't have a helper vehicle is the one time we need it. |

You'll be in the city, lock it up and come back for it if you can't find anyone to drive. |

Hey Jeff you know you can use the motorcycle if you block on the country ride, right. Don't kill me Joe... |

I drove two years ago, just picked up one vino with a broken throttle cable that we didn't have parts for (fixed at scooterville). helped change/provided parts for one clutch cable and two flats on the road, then caught up to the crowd.
We had no support to Duluth - about the same sort of issues. fixed on the road. |

about how long does the city ride take? Will you be leaving promptly at 11am?
I need to know because my usual babysitter (my mom) is busy until later on sat and I'm trying to get my dad to do it, but I need to tell him what time we'll be done.
thankyou

I'm not sure when we'll be done yet, Shelli, as the route is not finalized. However, we will be starting at approximately 11:15 a.m., fifteen minutes after the country ride departs. I will post an approximate distance and time some time early next week concerning the entire route. I don't recall what the arrival times at Scooterville were for the last few years have been but I seem to recall that it was between 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., maybe a little later. If anyone else has recollections about return times, either ride, please post. |

Hey Jeff and Amy,
Please email me your email addresses so I can send group emails. Thanks.
Joe.
Oops, already have yours, Jeff. Disregard.
Damnit, I see that Amy posted hers too. Disregard, both of you . This message didn't happen! |

Hey folks,
We could really use one or two more blockers. I'd also like if one of you would be able to ride as my wing-man for the sake of pacing. My Allstate's speedo isn't accurate as it bobs about. Please consider doing either and let me know if you're in.
Thanks,
Joe
