I need to have the rivets reseated and then the two parts welded together on my clutch spider. Any recommendations for a welder? Uptown area preferred but no necessary.

Thanks,

Jamie

I think Egan was drunk or fishing or both. I posted that in May of 2005.

I never have time to ride anymore what with a new job, new baby, and a fixer upper house. I've been spending my free time trying to get the dry-rotted trim around my windows replaced before the snow flies. When I do get out I head to uptown or the parkways.

Otherwise the scoot runs great. I've not needed to do a thing to it since the rebuild barring the few bigger items that are pending (replace the wiring harness and getting the battery to recharge). I hear the occasional dig here as well as on the BBS about Lammies being unreliable but even before the rebuild it was a pretty solid scoot. Yeah, it didn't like starting while hot but once I was directed toward running the gas out of the fuel line before shutting it down I haven't had a problem. I ran it pretty hard as a blocker for the last two rallies and I've never been left on the side of the road. I was reading on the LCUSA board that a stock Li ran the Cannonball with fewer issues than the upgraded and tuned Lammies, which automatically compensated for it's low top end speed...
