Probably because she was going to invite us to WOI, saw the thread, and stumbled right into that little cow-pie.
Ducati... I've heard of them. Oh yeah- they make the flywheel and electronics for my vespa, right?
har har. |

Crap. The fact that I know what he's talking about here severely dates me.
Fucking 80's.

Yup.
And yes, the main reason I lurk in here is because you're all so much funner and snarkier than the Ducati board, although we're working on it. |

The one that looked like it should have had a flux capacitor on it somewhere?
That thing was so 80's ugly it wrapped all the way around to cool again. |

Hey, sounds like I just missed some of you guys.
The show was great, despite the weather.

Nice to meet you Kevin, sorry I had to dash like that. I should have ridden the bike, it probably would have gotten me home.
Nothing like having your car towed when the cheapest surrounding vehicle is a volvo XC70. Cars in the slalom that had to be avoided included a lotus, benz, bmw, Ford GT, 911, and I think my internal insurance calculator broke after totalling those up. There were more. |

Oh, nothing happened to any of those cars, just my thought process running an ugly game of 'what if'.
The Focus started to pop the ignition fuse, repeatedly. The fuse looks like the standard blade type littlefuse, but it's about 2.5x the size, and is pretyt difficult to find. So I was stuck at WOI with the boys for a few hours while we got a tow truck and Amy Irene came to get me, etc.
The funny happened when I was leaning across a car seat and bumped the 'alarm' button on the keyfob that was in my pocket. That set off my car. Then Amy instinctively reached for her keyfob and set off HER alarm. So we had two Focii head to head with alternating horn bleats. And to turn the alarm off, one needs to simply start the car. But when the problem is that my car won't start in the FIRST place, I had to helplessly wait 2 minutes for the alarm to give up on itself. (I started looking for that particular fuse too, but it was futile.)
So towing a cheap domestic car out of a parking lot filled with foreign exotic cars was a bit humiliating. |

Yeah, I needed to provide some comic relief. The two cheapest cars on the lot, worried about being messed with.
Not embarassing in the least. |
