I would like to thank all the people that made the Rally happen. I had a lot of fun! Thanks again to people who organized the rally and to all the people who pitched in to help out.

I'll jump on this bandwagon.
To those wo are keeping the dream alive, thank-you for all your hard work. This was only my second year attending and I found myself on Sunday morning thinking "How am I possibly going to wait until next year?"--just like last year.
Anyway, it was cool, everyone I taked to had fun, and thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

I want to also add my thanks --
Lisa, Jeremy, Amy, Egan and Matty and Joe, in particular, but not forgetting everyone who helped out -- for diving in to herd the gang of feral cats we are. Organizing and carrying out a rally is not an easy task and you deserve all our thanks for bringing No Direction Home home. Bob and The Scootervillains (there's a good name for a band) -- for hosting us, yet again, and providing a scooter for the raffle (...oh, yeah, and for keeping the fuzz at bay, too.)
Michelle (the "good," non-scooterist Moses and raffle-winning lucky charm (Lonnie sat next to her this year, I sat next to her last year... hmmm... connection?)) -- for her interest in taking part to help the rally and schlepping the rally goods all over Twin Cities tarnation.
All the city ride riders -- for being patient with us blockers as we buzzed in and around and up the line.
The Out-of-Towners -- for trekking up to Our Fair State to partake in the Minneapolis-St. Paul mayhem.
Again, thanks to all. |

Yes, thanks to everybody involved for putting on the rally. I had a great time. To the people who worked as blockers on the city ride -- a special thanks! You all did a great job. This was my first rally and I was amazed at what you all were able to put together.
I'm sorry I had to miss the breakfast this morning but I wanted to get back before the rain started.

Lisa, you did a terrific job. Everybody else did too, and it was fun to do registration. The whole thing was a lot of fun! But especially props to Lisa and to Jeremy for doing so much to make this rally happen. Thanks! |

yes, I need to jump in here also. This was our(me, DH, and my best friend) first ever scooter rally. All three of us had a great time. But that was all because of all of you guys' hard work. All you old timers were just awesome with helping us newbies out. we really appreciated it.
Gotta give special props to the three guys who helped my friend and I out:
John on the Bajaj who pulled over when my friend did when somebody told her that her rear wheel was crooked. We were out in bum-fuck somewhere and would have probably lost the pack if it wasn't for him.
And the two guys from the All Mod Cons who blocked for us when we were having a hard time getting down Marshall Ave because of the wind.
THANK YOU!!
It was a really awesome sight to see about 80-90 scoots in a line cruising down the road. Especially when you are part of it!
I am already looking forward to next year!
I definently need a more powerfull scoot. One that'll at least make it up the hills, LOL!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!

But it was such a great Robot, Jeff!
Yes, big props to Lisa & Jeremy et al. GREAT Rally!!! Loved every moment and looking forward to next year.
To the chick blockers, you made my ride on Saturday. Everytime I passed, you all had such HUGE GRINS on your faces... You were thoroughly loving every moment. And Rochelle... you blocking the squad car was one of my highlights.
Thanks to everyone. My camera got smashed 2 weeks ago, I can't wait to see everyone's pics. |

Yeah it was so much fun it must have been illegal (hmm, blocking a squad car, surely that actually is illegal)
When I started my scoot this morning I swear it was a little bit hung over still.

The best part about blocking the squad car was that, when he came across the street, he rolled down his window and told me "you're blocking the interesection." O RLY? I hadn't noticed. I just gave him "ah. okay." and scooted out of the way. At least they didn't hound us through New Brighton as I feared they would. |
