Awww, man.
This is Amy here. I've been waiting a while to get access to the forum (what's up, admin?) and finally decided to post under Nate's name as I've been silent too long.

My scooter is in one piece.
When I pull a lever, there are cables attached to it.
It is shiny and whole, except for one little fuel tap.
Boy, is it shiny.
I'm still in utter disbelief.

For six years this bike has sat dusty and neglected, in pieces, ferried from garage to garage across the country by an ungrateful, unloving wretch (me). Until now. Big OI!'s to all the boys at Chris' garage who put their personal projects aside to get my bike together. It was wholly unexpected, and incredibly appreciated.

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!!!! to Chris, Matt, Egan, Moe, Nate, and Nate. You guys rock. There is some homebrew in the making with your names on it.

Thanks again,
Amy

You're entirely welcome, it was fun. Now if I knew you were brewing I'd have done up both hubs. Get that tap on and join the better classs of scooterists THE "SERVETERANS". Oh and welcome to the Mpls/Stp.

You're welcome! not bad for a bunch of jerks who don't ride huh. If only your dummy husband didn't lose the fuel tap you'd be on the road, I bet he finds it the day after the new one gets there.

Here's a pic.

Yeah, we did a little wrenching and a lot of beer drinking. Fun.

Beautiful.

That is one sexy bike--well done to all who did.

Wow, looks GREAT! You guys did a terrific job.

I suppose when you never ride, you free up a lot more time to create beautiful objects of scooter-lust (heeheeheehee).

well, got the box of parts in the mail the day before yesterday, and guess what? The tap was the only thing missing from the order. Gene's got another one in the mail, we'll see if we get it by this weekend....
