it was a gorgeous night for a ride... a few scoots less than last week, but still a good time.
Stacy - I missed you - did we scare you away? I hope not.
Nope, you didn't scare me away - I had made a prior committment to someone and of course the only night they could meet was last night - so I sat half listening to my dinner partner last night staring out a restaurant window at Hennepin Ave while every body seemed to ride past on such a lovely night.
At one brief moment I thought I'd get home in time to meet you all at Betty's and then he decides that it's the perfect night to walk around Uptown and have coffee.
I hope you guys had a good ride - it was absolutely gorgeous.
Oh honey, I wish it would have been that kind of dinner partner... unfortunately for me it was a completely platonic!!
Interestingly enough my 4 year old neice is hell bent on thinking that I should have sought out a boyfriend before I bought the scooter. In her mind girls shouldn't start engines because boys drive motorcycles and girls ride on the back. She wasn't too convinced when I told her that I just push one red button to start my engine and that I can't imagine letting any boy drive my pink scooter while I ride on back. Maybe she'll change her mind when she sees it in person. c'est la vie!

One other thing... Lindsay - where the heck are ya? We're imagining terrible things. You haven't come to a ride or posted in a while.
Calling Tom Lindsay... Calling Tom Lindsay...
Hey all, I'm not dead, I just got back from a crazy couple weeks. First dealing with a fever and tonsilitis, then putting up with my family, then on an actual vacation with my wife in Montreal for a couple days, then moving my mother-in-law from Iowa to New York. I started my scoot for the first time in 11 days this morning, which is officially the longest it's ever sat idle since I bought it.
While I was gone, the dishwasher, garage door, steps, toilet, and wheelbarrow all broke. I have everything fixed but the garage door, so I think I can go on the ride tomorrow (I mean today)...
Glad you were thinking of me. I thought I'd said I'd be gone for a while, but maybe not.
I've flown 2600 miles, driven 1800 miles, and ridden a train 1000 miles since I last went on a TNR. And I've only scooted 50 miles. So let's TNR!
