Well my friends from the Twin Cities, it is time to say farewell.

We are off to Modena, Italy, where I have accepted a job transfer. I did try to import my Vespa to Italy, but the bureaucracy was formidable (5 separate government departments), and would have cost more than the scooter was worth. It will live with a friend in St Paul and it is probably better that it stays in the US. I may sell it next season and I'll advertise it here if/when I do.

I will try to get a scooter in Italy, though first things first, I need to get settled.

Thanks to all the friends we made through The Regulars and good luck to you all in the coming seasons. Catherine and I have really enjoyed living in MSP, though when we first came to the US from Australia, it would not have been our first choice. Now we are true St Paulites.

I'll check in occasionally at Minnescoota.com to say hello and to see what is cooking.

Hope this all worked out to be what you wanted. I envy both you for the opportunity to live in Italy for a while.

It's been great to ride with you and hope to do it again soon.

Ciao, Nick.

Now I have a place to stay when I go to Italy!

Tell Catherine that Rochelle and I wish you all the best - the kiddie too.

Joe.

Italia?

Take us with you!

Better be ready for some wild drivers over there.

Best wishes to you, Catherine, and your child.

Oh, and if you happen to see a working P200E engine just lying by the side of the road somewhere (I've heard they grow on trees in Italy), put it in a box marked "olives" or "pasta" and mail it to me. I'll pay the postage.

;)

Ciao!

Nicholas -

Best wishes to you, Catherine & bebe. It was great getting to know you through the rallys and rides.

Take care & don't be a stranger.
