Ok so for the big ride (as well as the Friday nite rides)

Does any one have any particular part of the city that they would like to see as part of the ride?

If we're actually going to have a permit for blocking and stuff, let's take it right through the middle of downtown Minneapolis. 8th street ftw!

Brilliant! It could be a 2-stroke-only ride in the skyways...

We could call it the snorkel ride.

Lets have a ride toward the St Croix at some point in the weekend, it's a beautiful area. While we are there, I'll cruise to WI and get some New Glarus Beer. Ah yes, the benefits of a storage rack. Unfortunately they only sell 6 packs and 1/2 barrels. Anyone have a spare side car?

It would be nice to get out of town. The stop and go is a drag after awhile. I wonder if we could reserve a group campsite at William O'Brian. Since it is a MN State Park, it would be a bit tame. Or maybe Wisconsin would be better? Camping and tubing on the Apple or Welch Village?

Or ride to Welch, and do the short tube ride as part of the rally.

If people do want to come to Wisconsin I be happy to suggest a route and help set up a place to camp. Really I'd be all for this idea. We have a lot of great roads that are very rarely driven here in Western Wisconsin.

Yes a camping outing would be fun. If we can't do it during the Rally we should plan it for some point during the summer. I have some friends in SF who do the Kings Classic Rally. Every year they do a separate camping outing and I guess it's a blast. I think the key is to aim for a private campground with a group site. I'm all for it. [/quote]
