Register at the Cabin Fever Rally (at Scooterville on Saturday, January 20th) and pay your $20.00 registration fee (and sign the release) and get a free Rattle My Bones Rally t-shirt. Yes - they will be available this Saturday (unless the shipping gods screw us).
Rattle My Bones T-shirts are available in Olive Green or Black with sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XXL Large – We are working on getting women's' sizes and more colors.
This is a limited promotion only available during the Cabin Fever Rally! This offer is not good with any other offer (including $5 off volunteer registration)
Please note that this prepaid registration fee does not include any additional fees for Bike Show, Scavenger Hunt or the Scooterist Dinner.
We are charging for the bike show because we are giving out awards that are costing us about $10 to make, plus we are giving the winner additional awards (physical prizes). So I dont think this is a rip off. Go to our website and see the awards (or come by on Saturday and see them for yourself).
We took the shirts out of town because they offered the best price (by far), best service (we ordered shirts last Friday and we will have them for Saturday!) We wanted to get our shirt cost down so that we could maximize the scooter event.
We got bids from a few shops around town and they all were insanely expensive.
You know its easy to complain. But I dont see you volunteering to help. Give us some slack.
I looked at the website and it looks good. btw I am already volunteering. Look at your site under JEDI led ride. I'm Chris P.
What I was trying to say was that the cost for individual events is always included in the registration fee. That includes the cost for the materials. T-shirts are always seperate to make back money not taken in by the reg fees. Its not about making money. Its about a party for your friends.
Which leads me to this sentance taken directly from the web site:
Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to fighting, intoxication and reckless driving.
I've been to a crap load of rallies and that describes every last one of them.

Um, I hate to say it guys, but do you think you're biting off a bit more than you can chew? A four-day rally with a shitload of events, extra charges for a lot of stuff...man, a lot of people were pissed off when Lisa and I charged $20 last year, and we STILL just came very close to breaking even.
I certainly hope you work it out okay, but nobody would be angry or disappointed if, for your first year, you didn't try to do so much.
