It wasn't Tonka Bay Scooters... that guy is really good and he won't touch those Asian "restos".
I thought maybe it was you Matt? |

I remember Matt had a pretty shiny P200 at one time. It was a while ago though. |

Anyone else have a high school giggle reading the sellers name, 'Fuchs'? As in, whoever buys that scooter is going to get Fuchsed? |

Who was that?
I find them quite impressive too but not in a good way. |

yeah, I heard about this a couple weeks ago. I work just down the street at the Wedge.
First thing I said when my coworker told me was "what kind of scoots could they possilbly be selling from a second floor space and how could they service them?"
I'll try to remember to scoot by when I get off of work tomorrow and see if anything is going on yet. |

From the application:
"No repair or maintenence of the scooters will be performed on the site."
I've ridden by it, it's in the old Cinema Revolution space (above the Quizno's) on Lyndale between Franklin and 94. Windows full of plastic scooters.
"Hi, I'd like to test ride that one."
"Okay, if you want to come back tomorrow, we'll have it downstairs." |

I saw that place and thought the same thing... wtf?!?! It looked like a fly by night operation... All these scooters on the second floor right against the windows. Can't miss it. |

I rode past there the other day thinking it was odd that the scoots were on the 2nd floor. It reminded me of the tiny shop that opened on Hennepin Ave. late last season that had the plastic scooters there too, those were at least on ground level, but no good place to test ride them unless you want to dodge in and out of all the craziness on Hennepin.
c'est la vie... |
