I want to come back to the tnr, but won't be able to until my work schedule changes in may. I can't get from St Paul to Lake Harriet in 15 minutes, (at least, I don't think I can, maybe I should clock that. . .)
For the sake of those of us who haven't ever lived in minneapolis while owning a scooter, how does one get to the bandshell? If someone can break it down into the easiest route involving the river roads I'd be ever so greatful.

Just take the Minnehaha parkway all the way to Lake Harriet, and go counter-clockwise around Harriet until you get to parking lot and the road to Lake Calhoun on the north side of the lake. At the stop sign, turn left to stay going counter-clockwise around Lake Harriet. We meet in the parking lot right after the stop sign, in front of the bandshell.
One of the nice things of riding a standard route is that eventually we'll have a fairly accurate time frame so you could meet up along the way. That way you won't feel like you have to race to the start and you can still enjoy the ride and post ride.
