What is this?

We haven't heard a peep from the rally organizers fora few months. Ususally at this stage in the game there are requests for help blocking etc etc. I had assumed that the silence meant that the whole thing had gone belly up.

Had I pre-registered I would be a bit worried that my hard earned cash had been flushed straight down the ol' shitter. So I was thinking to myself that it is a good thing that I didn't pre register. That's all.

FYI, I got my intel from someone else, and as such should have confirmed it before posting. I apologize if I ruffled any feathers.

Thanks for setting things straight. It probably doesn't matter but why not get it right and avoid false rumors.

Explain to me how this could work while still keeping the internet fun. Wouldn't work. Kinda like a perpetual motion machine.

That's funny because I stole that line from you!

Perfectly understandable - and after noticing the disclaimer regarding any "Midnight Ride", I'm not surprised. I've stayed out of business end of the LD/Endurance rally community for the same reasons. I'd like for my home to continue to be mine (and the banks). I have enough exposure to litigation at work thankyouverymuch.

I should run the rally - I have nothing to lose except a couple scooters, and I could always put them in Amy Marie's name the week beforehand!

Except that--aren't you gonna be in, like, Geekland or something that weekend? Just sayin'....
I am really going to miss your commentaries during the gymkhana. Seriously.
How many weeks 'til roller derby starts?

Yup, I'm going to be in Indianapolis for GenCon. It's a work thing. But yeah, it's pretty geeky.

The 2007-2008 Minnesota Rollergirls season begins on October 20!
