I think Derrick is still on vacation in Arizona so I'll step in to identify this one as an authentic Vietbodge. Though it's getting hard to differentiate between those and an Indobodge or a Millasianbodge.
Anyway. Wrong colors and Fancy legshield trim are the instant keys.
Pole vault center stands and yellow boots are deal breakers.

"It won't last long! Wow!"

No shit...like maybe 200 miles before the frame breaks in two.

Hi. I was curious as to who did the resto job on your scooter. Was it someone local, someone out of state, or did you do it yourself? What all was involved in the job? How many original parts? Is it a new engine?

Do you have the title for it?

I'd love to see it sometime, but I'll be out of town this weekend (it's supposed to snow anyway). Maybe next week?

Thanks!

Jeremy

Quoting Ross Fuchs :

Hi There,

I had it imported from overseas. The body and the engine are all original.
Most of the other parts are aftermarket...to be expected for a 40+ year old scooter! I have all the paperwork to title it. It is a true head turner beauty. Runs very well! You may want to tighten up the brake cables but that is pretty much it. I had it run through by a guy who worked on vespa's for 15 years and he was quite impressed.

Thanks. Let me know if and when you want to see it.

I have a lot of interest in it already. Thanks and enjoy

From overseas where, exactly?

I got it done from a very reputable guy in VietNam. They had a lot over there because they were not able to trade with the USA for the last couple years.

I just asked him why he's selling it so quickly if he just bought it, and he replied:

I bought quite a few of them Jeremy. It was a very long and hard process to get them into the country! It is very expensive but i wanted to do it because they are so hard to find in the USA. I am keeping several for myself.

Hmm.

Who was that?

I find them quite impressive too but not in a good way.
