The past two years we've invited the scootering faithful for a mid winter gathering. We call it Cabin Fever and we are going to do it again in January on the 18th and 19th. We are adding an extra day because we haven't had the opportunity to conduct a proper open house at our new store.
I'd still like to conduct a Vintage swap meet of some sort. Space is a bit of an issue so we may condense it a bit and it would be Saturday only.
Save the date. More info as we make it up.

Bring your own table and we'll get you some floor space for the swap meet.
Not as much floor space as in the past, but not too crowded.

Registration for Rattle My Bones II available. We'd like to offer space for promotion of the vintage rally too.

There will be, in addition to fantastic prices on scooters and accessories, hourly prize raffles for cocktails at local establishments, tix for the English Beat, Scooterville gift packages, and much more.

Pooter intends to complete the first leg of his group "tour of the Luce's"
(completing the rounds of all Pizza Luce locations by scooter [beginning in Duluth]) {with as many hearty souls as he can muster} at opening time on Saturday. The plan is to head out of Duluth at 3AM closing time on early Sat morning and riding through the night to complete the first leg.

It's a long Winter. Take a break.

Hey scootervillain, what are the hours for this fine event? Regular Scooterville hours? Or are there evening bits as well?

We're planning on regular hours, Friday 11-6 and Saturday 10-4. We won't kick anyone out, so if folks are hanging out we might move next door to the Junction. We are going to do hourly drawings for merch, gift certificates, free cocktails at local establishments, motorcycle show passes, and some tix to see English Beat at the Cabooze in mid February. I've been to that show the last two years. It's lots o' fun.

This will also be the bon voyage party for Ed Raschke, who has been our top knotch sales associate (abreviated to ass.), side car installer, scooter tutor, and all around good guy. Ed has probably taught more new scooter riders how to stay alive than anyone in the country.
Ed is moving on to a new position with Genuine Scooter Co. as their roving Ambassador. Stay tuned as we follow his escapades. Rumors of his joining the Huckabee campaign are wildly exagerated.

Well if anybody could single-handedly bring Genuine scooters to the masses it's Ed. Good luck! Thanks for finding me my P200E!

Thanks for putting this event together again Bob. It really has Amy thinking about a new Rattler.

How DO you manage to schedule it during the coldest weather of the year?

I guess we just get lucky with the weather. What was amazing was that from 10 until two we had a pretty steady headcount of 40 to 50 people in the store. Thanks to all who came out.

A great time as always, despite the weather. I had a blast.

And Amy needs to buy that Rattler.

And more aptly, why can't she have yours, Kevin? Didn't you win one?
