250 four-stroke stella? Pretty interesting from a number of directions
- how long to get a beast like that through EPA, could they sell it in California
- who designed the motor and how good is it? the Bajaj 4-stroke motor is very solid, rumor had Kawaski in on the design of it, but just average performance
- would it compete price-wise against a used Vespa 200 GT or GTS? or how would it be priced?
As far as their ET knock-offs, what would be the price on those? or just buy a used ET or GT
I think there would be a market for a larger four-stroke shifter, if it was a solid bike and you could get it for a price maybe 30% less than an Italian with a two-year warranty. Not as advanced (probably not fuel injected), but more old school looks and ride.
I'd like a little more power for the suburban roads and short hops on 94 between Mpls and St. Paul. |
