Good morning,

Mojo Willie and I have been invited to lead one of the Rally rides this year and as I think on the route that has been requested we lead, there are a few areas where I would really like to have aggressive blocking although most of the ride requires relatively light blocking.

Are there any volunteers to assist us this year? I figure we can get away with four or five blockers for this route.

If I recall correctly, we're doing the Saturday ride which is supposed to be three to four hours long.

Please let me know so I can start coordinating the info-flow.

Gracias,

Joe.

If it is indeed the big Saturday ride, count me in--just stay out of downtown St. Paul.

I regret that it's not close enough to either coast to slide into the ocean.

It's kind of like a small growth on Minneapolis that's sucking vital nutrients that Minneapolis needs to grow strong and healthy - if a surgeon saw that kind of polyp on your stomach, he'd cut that fucker out right away. One good thing about St. Paul, though, is that it's keeping folks out of Minneapolis that we'd rather not have here - like, say, a shit load of Republicans.

;-)

I'm a little disturbed that I put that stupid, fucking winky eye thing there but I'm hopeful that folks will resist getting off-topic here. At the rate people step up to help on the rally ride, I should have about two volunteers by the time of the rally. So, stay focused.

I'm also shooting for the other half of the horse trophy this year.

I would be happy to help were I not out of town on a work trip during the rally.

Translation: NOT IT!

I believe this is the first rally in about 4 years that I'm NOT out of town. Yeah!
So I will be glad to be a scofflaw for the afternoon.
Good times...

Ron

The discussion I had with the boys the other day as we drove down 94:

See that big white domed building there? Do you know what that is?
It means that Saint Paul is better than Minneapolis, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

Well, it *is* our biggest suburb. Like all bedroom communities though, it's hard to find another soul on the streets after 6 pm.

Right. Never walk anywhere where there aren't sidewalks. That's what SUVs are for.

Ack!

Now I've done it! I've gotten off topic.

Meh.

Who's also going to help block the big ride?
