I've wondered about that guy for the better part of 10 years.
I remember seeing him out in Wayzata pumping that old bird.... I'm glad someone did a story on him- I'm forwarding it to like 20 people....
(none of whom will buy his bike) |

Nice guy...
...about 10 years ago I worked in a liquor store and he would come in once in a while...not a booze hound, like a lot of the regulars (liquor store regulars, not the scooter regulars...well, you know). And he would have that thing strapped to his car, and we would talk about it and he was always telling me about the mods he had recently made. I don't think the thing really had the same set up two months in a row for the first couple of years. And always covered in about a 1/2 inch of drywall dust. Good guy. I hope he finds a buyer for it. You can usually see him at parades riding the thing with a patent for sale sign on it. |
