Thanks to: Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, Elsie's, Grumpy's, Yarusso's, Square Peg, and Molly Quinn's.

And the DJs, Jason and Lori B. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And all of the many sponsors large and small.

No doubt, and thanks to all the people that came out too. It wouldn't be a rally without you all!

And this would be where I post something intentionally stupid and pithy, which ends up stirring up a hornet's nest and offends everybody, even though I was just goofin'.

Like, "I think the rally would have been a lot better if none of you lamers had showed up.
<dot>
<dot>
<dot>
My odds in the raffle would have improved significantly."

But in the spirit of self-congratulatory back-slapping, I'll give shouts out to all those that pulled it together- it went fantastically well, for all the ugliness preceeding it. Matt and Trish obviously get props, as do Lisa, Amy, 433, Dan, John Britton (sorry about your wreck, brother!), Egan, Jeremy W, Jeremy L., Bob, Phil, and anybody else I'm forgetting that stood behind a table or led a ride, blocked for the ride, attended, etc.

Also big thanks to everybody that was manning the grill and table at the BBQ- they never get enough respect. Everybody loved the food. They must have, because you bastards ate it all before I got a chance to go
through the line.

Also big thanks/thumbs up/congratulations that everybody that participated in the Ghymkhana and ended up having to dust themselves off- and doing it with a smile (at least for the cameras).

I'd like to thank my mother and father. My beautiful wife and children. And God, because obviously he loves scooters or he wouldn't have made them. I don't have an agent to thank, but I might consider hiring one out.

(Sure these aren't hosts/sponsors, but might as well post this wherever. I'm not one to follow a thread.)

See you at Scooter Du 7- Electric Boogaloo2: Electric Boogaloo2!! The second weekend in never!

We probably shouldn't forget Genuine and Scooterville for helping us go out in style! I think John M, should put the artwork for the pint glasses on the scoot!

Thanks also to all those fab sponsors, many helpers and participants.

We all owe a big special thanks to Matt and Trish for creating Skooter Du. I met a lot of people that have helped me make my scooting experience much more fun at the last few rallies. Wish I could have particpated in all of six of them!

And to all the people who must have put in lots of work just so that I could show up, meet cool people and have the best time--

Thank-you!

I didn't even get made fun of too much for having pedals!

I love mopeds! Scooters are over rated.

You gave that moped a workout this weekend. Lotsa miles and a good climb on that hill in St Paul. I was impressed.

Have that chain looked at, though. A little maintenance & that thing will take you anywhere.

Thank you Nate for remembering to include Jeremy Liebig in your thank-you list! (I am assuming he printed the shirts again). Why wasn't Tee Squared listed on the sponsors page? Jeremy has very humbly helped out the past few years and never takes any public credit for it. Thanks JEREMY for being a kick-ass dude.

I'm going to give a big thanks to everyone from this blocker's POV. Thanks for being aware of us as we were blasting past everyone, patiently heeding us when necessary, and exuding great amounts of coolness during the ride. You all made the Saturday and Sunday rides a success.

Also, in response to all the congratulations and good wishes for my good fortune last Saturday, I want to give a big thanks to everyone from The Regulars and the scooter community I have grown to know. Winning a new scooter is sweet, but in all honesty it pales in comparison to the friendships and good will I have won over these years. Thank you.

Thanks Everyone for making this happen! I had a great time and my first and last Du. A big word up to the guy on the other grill and the other vollinteers (sp) that made this happen.

Thanks to the regulars and all their guests. I've said it before, but you guys can party at my place anytime.

If that was the last one, you went out at the top of your game.
