Nothing overwhelmingly popular. The massacre thing sounded great until the visual (sorry Dave) and scooters on a stick just aren't doing it for me anymore (sorry Amy). Stinky fish still has promise....I just think there is something out there that will really grab us, and I just don't feel it yet. Obviously I need to contribute too, I've just been too busy to come up with an ounce of creativity. Perhaps we'll end up right back here. But I need to think, and I'd really appreciate it if you did to.

THANK YOU!

Scootrophenia?

Rochelle and I stopped in at Tatters and saw the damndest thing. There's a local Cities artist with his face on T-Shirts. It was awesome. Made us laugh. Brilliant.

Now, if we could just get that Ski-bike guy to do the same, I'd be all over that.

I saw that shirt - it was the guy that used to hang out at the New French late night. What is his name?

I saw him all the time. He apparently only wears vintage clothing that is black or white.

Should we do a T-Shirt with Matt's face on it?

I know Ryan is trying the same with Silverwing dude.

Do you have to have permission of the person in question to do such a thing?

Thats Scott Seekins, he is a legend ...he wears white all summer and black all winter. He paints the Madonna (religous not pop) and thats all.

Ah, Scott Seekins the trust-fund baby. He's like a really old affected Emo kid. Oy.

I figured something was up, I mean how many people could want to buy paintings of the Madonna. But characters are important to have around.

Check out the Sept. 05 issue of the Rake:

Au contraire. Try explaining your love for a 13 year old boy, Lisa, and see if you're not bound for jail.

I seem to recall some recent article about a woman hooking up with an eight year old boy. It has to completely suck for a guy to find out his girl loves girls. Imagine the blow factor if a guy finds out his girl is dumping him for an eight year old.

I'm knocking on wood.

eww, Lisa! that's just gross! you can have him--I'll let ya.

I think that guy's been on the cover of every local publication at one time or another. City Pages, Variety section of the Star Trib--what kind of loser puts their face on those sorts of things? oh, wait...

Joe, I think you're safe. Rochelle is too tall for an eight-year-old. That is scary though, ew.

And Amy, I already have a vintage boyfriend, remember?

Speaking of this, has anyone else read John Irving's new book "Until I Find You"? I enjoy Irving, and enjoyed the book. Others can't get past what they see as a paean to child abuse.
