Now that I have a good cold-weather clothing configuration, I'm good to go til it snows. So yeah!

Pretty sure I'm in. Unless it's raining. Plenty of layers, eh?

And if it's cool I'd like to go counterclockwise (up the lakes, through downtown) and end up at Betties, maybe. It's gonna be a chilly ride!

It was a great ride! Nice and clear, and with just two of us it was pretty quick. Dave joined us late after he got his pipe back on...

So who's coming next week?

I forgot (well, more just didn't connect) that this coming Tuesday is election night and I'm on a campaign committee and hence will be at a victory party (I'm pretty sure) on Tuesday night. Sorry guys, it looks like it should be a good night, too. See you next week...

No, I live in Mpls. I'm working for Cara Letofsky for the Minneapolis 2nd Ward council race. She's running against a capable opponent (Cam Gordon, Green Party) but I think she's in a good place going in to the election tomorrow.

But yeah, go Coleman - that is if we're talking about Chris Coleman, not Norm - the one who's running against a DFL turncoat, not the one who *is* a DFL turncoat.

I got Cara's mailing yesterday. Too bad I live in Ward 1. Shouldn't she know where her Ward boundies lie?

GIS is probably pretty crude at that level of campaigning. Heck, the Mpls. school district doesn't even geocode the location of their students (that I know of according to a meeting I attended today). I bet she's just shooting for ZIP codes that encompass her area.

Actually, now that I look at it, it wasn't mailed, but dropped off by a volunteer. That makes it worse.

Yeah, I guess it's good that I'm not the one organizing volunteers for the lit drop. Where do you live? YOu must be right by the border... perhaps a well-meaning but uninformed volunteer (hard to believe, but they do exist) kept going after they'd passed the border...

Anyway, if any of you are in Ward 2 vote for Cara tomorrow!

I am across the street from Ward 2, but I will note that Cam Gordon never left anything on my doorstep, nor did either Paul Ostrow or Erik Johnson (the Ward 1 candidates) leave stuff across the street at my Ward 2 friends' house.

I'm just being snotty, don't mind me. For all I know, when I ran back in 2001, people lit dropped in Falcon Heights!
